Weber DUO-ART Player Grand Piano, 1920, Fully Restored! SOLD!
Weber pianos from this era were one-to-one competition with Steinways. This relatively small company built really fine pianos. The Duo-Art reproducing system was initiated in 1913, and Weber was one of the first beneficiaries. This piano was fully and painstakingly restored in the 1990s for thousands of dollars. The paperwork is in the beautifully restored bench. The player/reproducing mechanism (electronic) is fully functioning and was also restored. There are plenty of rolls included. This piano was built in 1920, and looks absolutely like new, the cabinet is a burnished brown mahogany, the brass sparkles, the strings and tuning pins look like new. Every screw top glistens! The Model W.R. is a 5'8" piano, perfect for your living room. Weber was the top of the Aeolian line, even preferred over Steinway at the time! It is a wonderfully built piano, but for added enjoyment, let it do the work for you! Flip a switch and hear it go! The real ivory keys are in beautiful condition. This is a gem any way you look at it!
