Baldwin Model E, 5'8" grand piano, 1930, Mahogany, SOLD!
This piano was in the same family for 70 years! Purchased in 1950, it started off in California where, the story goes, Dave Brubeck played a concert on it and signed it afterwards! Unfortunately, when the piano was completely restored in 2000 the soundboard was refinished and the signature is gone. But, it's still a wonderful piano! Brubeck loved playing on Baldwin pianos, and you will love playing this one! The newer strings and hammers sound great, there is nothing wrong with the soundboard and bridges, the piano rings true, and it holds its tune well. The refinishing job was done really well. The cabinet looks wonderful. Come see and hear for yourselves! A larger baby grand has more expressive capabilities, and is a joy to play!
