Astin-Weight 50" Upright Grand, Walnut Amazing Condition! SOLD!

Astin-Weight pianos are something special. Made in Salt Lake City, Utah, this all-American company built pianos for several decades and spared no costs in making the best pianos they could in a way that was not duplicated in the USA! For starters, they are made from solid wood, not laminated with veneer. Then, the soundboard covers the entire piano, making for a more resonant sound. The strings are positioned in a way that allows for more length, creating a fuller bass sound. There are no back posts, and the cast iron plate covers the entire  piano. The choice of wood was very selective. At one point the U500 50" vertical piano was listed at over $17,000!

This piano has been used sparingly. It's modern styling is striking! It has an oiled finish, so it looks like natural wood. The keytops are unscathed, the hammer wear is minimal, and the hammers themselves are of high quality! The tuning pin torque is almost like a new piano (it will hold its tune well!). This piano was made with some serious engineering and with high quality materials. It is in excellent condition and should serve you for a long time to come!
