In addition, we started to take apart the piano that Esther is going to transform as well. This piano, a Krakauer from 1977, has an interesting history. Its former owner wanted it to find a good home. We thought it was perfect for Esther's art, because the finish was in need of attention, whereas the inside workings, the action, the keys, the hammers, the strings, are all in pretty good shape. The piano will soon sound very good, but it will be a unique art piano as well! We are all pretty excited about the prospect.
Paul and I also agreed to have a picture taken with us in it. Here it is, along with 'our' C2X from YAMAHA!
