Spring!

I saw some robins. On Sunday, there was record-breaking heat in the Twin Ports: 74 degrees Fahrenheit.....above zero! Is this some kind of sadistic joke? Last year at this time there was over a foot of snow on the ground.

Spring is a nice time of year, a time of growth and new birth. The piano store on Superior street is no different. Tomorrow we expect 2 new pianos to be delivered. Sure, why not, they will be dropped off by a very large stork. One of them is indeed a baby!

The Arrowhead Home and Builders Show was tiring, fun, and pretty successful. We accomplished our goal of getting noticed. The weather was actually too nice for good attendance at the end, but those who did come showed interest in our store and our stuff.

I could tell you about nice conversations with the popcorn guy, who is all into natural food and mountain bikes, or the daily parade of the Willis Clan, with skirts and cowboy boots, and curly blond hair (the girls), or their father, who asked if he could sit down and play our 5' baby. He was in acoustic heaven for about 10 minutes, then he had to run after the littlest ones in the clan. An amazing bunch.
Mostly, it was all about meeting nice people. Lots of nice people.

Now we are moved back into our abode on Superior St. There will soon be a drawing for the gift certificates. The taxes are done. New pianos on the way. Time to take a deep breath of clean Superior air, and hope that it's no joke. Hope that Spring is indeed here.
