No, this is not a picture of the North Shore of Lake Superior in December. The trees are clearly wrong for our neck of the woods, but the rest of the picture looks a lot like what I see every day when I walk the dog. Our dog, BTW, is pushing 15 years old. Some days, he acts like a youngster, some days he acts his age. He still looks like a puppy, but he is not as anxious to bound up a flight of stairs, he is pretty much deaf, and is starting to lose his sight. He has to think things over a little more, and is not as flexible as he once was. But, he gets to take a walk along one of the great natural wonders of the world every day, rain, or shine, or snow, or ice. Lucky dog!
Christmastime at a retail piano store seems to be a busy time. Imagine that! Things are hopping around here, and I have a lot to do, so I will keep this short. However, if you just can't make the decision to buy a piano before Christmas, there will be a celebration after the first of the year to mark the first Anniversary of our business. Could also be a worthwhile occasion!
Oh, and go see Magic Flute at UMD this weekend. And go hear Messiah with the DSSO! Wonderful seasonal events! Nutcracker with Minnesota Ballet! Mary Poppins at the Playhouse! Don't stay at home, put on the mukluks and hit the pavement! Ho! Ho! Ho!
