Pumpkin Time at PPFP!

On the eve of October's 2nd Friday Art Crawl, I have discovered that Yamaha is keeping up with the times. Should that be a surprise? This time, the discovery has to do with the Disklavier Radio, and the available channels it offers. You guessed it! They have added a Halloween Channel!

So, all day I have been listening to Harry Potter, and Phantom of the Opera, and Bach's Toccata and Fugue in d minor, and other such hair-raising pieces. So far, it has been down-right spine-tingling!

For your information, the concerts that I mentioned in my last post were all terrific! Now we are down to one performance of the Barber of Seville, performed by Lyric Opera of the North (LOON), and featuring among many others, Paul Piszczek (he of PPFP), singing among the Bro-sinni chorus. I can't wait to see him and the others tomorrow night!

On to more mundane matters: Our roof at home is getting fixed! Today! That must mean that snow is on the way! Let it snow x 3. We will be ready! The leaves around here are at their peak of color. The lake with its deep blue, and the longer and longer shadows make the season what it should be. And if you come down to the store, you can top it off with some scary piano music, too!
